A sling is one of the most important attachments you can put on your rifle, but how do you mount it to your weapon system? This article will guide you through the attachments that we offer for sling mounting.
We offer two quick-detach methods for slings. QD Swivels and Clash Hooks, also known as HK hooks. While QD Swivels are our preferred attachment method, Clash Hooks are still very useful for less common setups like the MP5, TP9, or attaching to the front sight post of your AR-15.
QD Swivels
QD Swivels are one of the most effective ways to attach slings to rifles. They tend to be quieter and quicker than Clash Hooks but aren't quite as universal.

Clash Hooks
Clash Hooks are a strong, simple method to attach slings. While they do tend to make noise, they are more universal than QD Swivels. This makes them a perfect match for less common weapon systems that have limited mounting options.
QD Attachments
Arisaka M-LOK/KeyMod QD Mount
The Arisaka QD mount is a low-profile mounting option for both M-LOK and KeyMod handguards. This mount features an anti-rotation interface and works with all standard QD swivels.

IWC 45 Offset QD Mount
The IWC 45 Offset QD Mount is a low-profile 45 degree QD sling mount. Its design recesses the quick detach socket as close to the centerline of the weapon as possible for maximum clearance, which minimizes snags. Like the Arisaka, this mount features anti-rotation and accepts all standard QD swivels.

BCM QD End Plate
The BCM QD End Plate is one of our favorite sling attachment points. It works well for a rear sling attachment point for two-point sling setups and one-point slings with the IWC 2 To 1 Triglide.
The BCM End Plate does require some tools to install but is fairly easy to do yourself.
We strongly recommend proper installation and staking of the castle nut. You can find videos of how to do this below. Proper castle nut torque is 36-40 ft/lbs.

IWC 2 To 1 Triglide (QD Swivel Method)
The IWC 2 To 1 allows you to convert a two-point sling into a one-point sling and then back again if necessary. It incorporates a QD Socket designed to accept any push-button QD sling swivel and will also accept Clash Hooks.

Clash Hook Attachments
Magpul M-LOK Paraclip Mount
The M-LOK Paraclip Sling Mount is a sling attachment that accepts clash hook or even the Magpul Paraclip. It has an extremely durable Melonite finish with a low-profile and snag-free design.

Magpul QD Paraclip Adapter
The QD Paraclip Adapter is similar to the Magpul RSA (discussed next) and the M-LOK Paraclip Mount, but instead of mounting to M-LOK or a standard 1913 rail, it plugs into any QD socket, allowing you to run slings with hook attachments.

Magpul RSA (Rail Sling Attachment)
The Magpul RSA is a sling point for slings with hook attachments. It mounts to any 1913 Picatinny rail and can be oriented to the left or the right side, depending on the dominant hand of the shooter.

Magpul ASAP End Plate
The Magpul ASAP (Ambidextrous Sling Attachment Point) allows a range of motion greater than 180 degrees, allowing ambidextrous sling points for both left and right-handed shooters. The ASAP replaces the standard AR15/M16 carbine stock receiver end plate.
The Magpul ASAP does require some tools to install but is fairly easy to do yourself.
We strongly recommend proper installation and staking of the castle nut. You can find videos of how to do this below. Proper castle nut torque is 36-40 ft/lbs.

The IWC 2 To 1 allows you to convert a two-point sling into a one-point sling and then back again if necessary. It incorporates a QD Socket designed to accept any push-button QD sling swivel and will accept Clash Hooks as well.
